My tiny nursery is nearly completed! Just waiting for a few more items to come in but I’m sure, in the future, I will find other items that I want to add so it might never be done until I have used up every inch of space in there!
In the event something happens to me, all of the items in my tiny little nursery belong to my one and only sister, as I know these would be very special to her in a way that nobody else would appreciate all of it!! She also will make sure items are sold for their values if she desires to sell any of the items and they won’t be tossed into a dumpster! LOL!! 💕❤️💕❤️
Here it is!!!
These storage cubes are great for baby clothes that are better hung on hangers, as well as for blankets, shoes, etc.
Baby supplies caddy!
Vintage super balls!!!
Extra Moses beds are hung out of the way! I love my “Little Baby Cave” sign too! The blue and pink baby blocks were cheap, purchased at the dollar store. They are intended for baby shower decorations. I used museum wax to hold them together. The little book was given to me by the artist who made my full body silicone gal, Hannah Grace, who is shown in the next photo in the pink sleeper. And my vintage BIC Banana markers are displayed here too!
Supplies for my full body silicone gal, Hannah Grace (the doll in the pink sleeper, above), which includes hair conditioner sprays, body wash, powder, hair brush and comb.
UPDATE: I decided to add my little Amish dolls from my trip to Pennsylvania when I visited the Amish village at least ten years ago! I decided to place them where the BIC Banana markers were and used a 3M hook to hang them up instead.
ANOTHER UPDATE: My Holly Hobbie sewing machine has arrived and this was the only spot that could accommodate it. I had ordered some extra 4 inch by 4 inch acrylic shelves that also arrived today; just in time! I had to move the Bic Markers and the little book to accomplish this. The shelf can be installed with the provided adhesive patches and/or screws so I used both to ensure adequate shelf strength for the sewing machine. The little book was moved over to the right. You can see part of it on the very right side of the photo, below. The Amish dolls and baby blocks did not have to be relocated.
New location for the BIC Banana markers, next to my vintage rabbits feet that I added the other day. I have had my rabbits foot collection since the 1970’s! I believe most were purchased at a little store that was located a few doors down from St. Augustine’s Church in Andover, Massachusetts. We used to love to go there after school whenever we could get there, which wasn’t often. I wish I could recall the name of that little store! I tried to find it on the web but it appears it is now a pizza shop, Depot Pizza. But when I saw the name of the pizza shop, the store might have had the name “Depot” something…Maybe it was called Andover Depot?
Love my no-name brand “boppy” pillow! Great for photo shoots! Hannah Grace (full body silicone) is in the left in the dark pink sleeper and Courtney (Reborn doll) to her right.
Three reborn dolls in the mini playpen, from left to right: Michael, Kimberly and Hamilton.
Toddler pillow! Will come in handy for photo shoots! Or for my own comfort while in here! The no-name brand “boppy” pillow is also quite comfy! LOL!
Lots of puck lights! I decorated them all with adhesive jewel strips!
I love my little stars string light! Looks so pretty when all of the other lights are turned off!
I really love the tiny playpen shown below! Great for displaying some of my reborns! There is only one person who sells these so they’re uncommon and unique. Someday this might possibly become a rare vintage piece!
Baby mobile. This isn’t vintage. It’s totally modern! I forgot to mention earlier in my blog that this little puzzle on the beam behind it was pretty cheap. I glued the pieces into place so they would not fall out of the puzzle when hung. In my tiny nursery, I have to maximize space so I try to hang up as many items as possible!
Little LadyBug is an older reborn doll. She wears size nine months.

This is my huge purchase! These seats are so rare and difficult to find! And when you do find one, it’s difficult to get it! This was on eBay at auction with about 15 watchers and it was quite the bidding war! I kept getting outbid even on my max bids with only minutes to go! With 3 seconds left, and losing, I entered a max bid of $201 and wasn’t sure if it was going to work but it did! Within a second of entering my new max bid, the screen flipped and showed that I won it at $184.50 (plus shipping)! I was thrilled! I had entered $201 because I figured if someone did $200, I would come out ahead! I’m sure the other bidder(s) were highly disappointed! I know I would have been if I had lost out on it! I was so thrilled to get this rare find! And it came with the box as well as the manual! It is unheard of to have the box available as it is. But the manual too?! It is truly amazing to have this! It’s also in new condition after all of these years! It’s older than me! 1963! Even the vinyl straps are in good condition! They’re not dried out and cracking! They’re perfectly clean, too! Amazing after all of these years!
I had one when my son was a baby that I might have purchased at Kmart for about $10, I’m guessing; in 1988! I had it for a few years and tossed it in the trash! Even if I still had it, it’s not as old as this one but it still would have been considered vintage today! It likely was close to being one of the last ones produced!
These seats are so difficult to find regardless of year produced! I’m sure the one I had back in 1988 would have been worth at least $100, without the original box and manual! Never throw anything like this away! LOL!! And save the box and manual!
Here is my little Kodi Bear (reborn doll) displayed in this awesome seat! He wears size six to nine months. He is a limited edition sculpt!
Close up of my vintage top! I had one similar to this as a very young child!
UPDATE: My vintage vinyl, food-catching bib has arrived! Here it is! These were very popular in my toddler/young child years! I remember wearing bibs like like this one!
LadyBug with the vintage top! So very cute! I think she likes it! LOL!
Vintage top in motion!
Some more vintage items from my childhood years!
These cute Amish hats are not vintage but are about ten years old and purchased in the Amish village during a trip to Pennsylvania.
I am also storing my vintage collectors’ boxes in the corner next to the nightstand.
This little nightstand accommodates everything quite well, including the clothes for my doll collection!
I had this Goldilocks house as a toddler/child! This one still works! The eyes tilt upward and downward when the house is pulled forward on its wheels! We also had a Keymonica just like this growing up! I had forgotten all about it until I came across it while shopping around on eBay. I think it might have been early 80’s?
We used to play with this intercom system as kids! I bought just one for display purposes only; non-working. It’s not like I would play with a set of these today! LOL!! I cut the cord off of it, as it took up added space I don’t have. We had at least two of these, possibly three of them. We just loved these and played with them for hours! They were so much fun! I am guessing that they might have been purchased at either Radio Shack or Service Merchandise in tax-free Salem, New Hampshire! We would place them in different rooms and beep each other when we wanted to call and talked through them! So much fun!
The sunset/sunrise clock is something I had as a teenager and took with me when I left home. My husband and I used it for a few years until it died on us. It broke my heart to throw it away! This one actually still works! I don’t have it plugged in here in this photo.
Here is the clock plugged in! It works perfectly!
We used to love these little sparkle toys! I seem to remember getting ours when we went to Paragon Park on Nantasket Beach but I’m not certain. We had a a few different types of these over the years.
Just a little sample of vintage curlers from the 60’s and 70’s! Sure does bring back memories!
Little phone toy, vintage Garfield and Odie Pez as well as little scooter with Garfield and Odie! I didn’t have these as a kid but we sure did love various Pez dispensers and candy! I also loved Garfield and Odie! Tigger also came from my niece! He’s so cute! I always loved bouncy, pouncy tigger! In my younger years I was so much like him too! The energy I had! My patients used to call me “Speedy!” LOL!!
This next item is not vintage. I bought it after my grandson was born for him to play with here at the house when here for visits. He has since outgrown it, now age three, and never really played with it much. My granddaughter, now nine months old, might potentially play with it but it’s likely she won’t play with it often. So I decided to place it in my nursery. Fisher Price has been making these for years! I used to play with one of these as a toddler/young child! Even though this one is not vintage, it still represents another toy I had in my young childhood years!
Cool Pez dispensers!
UPDATE: My Playskool car and square people arrived today! They have been added to the nightstand!
I had the same metal, pencil sharpener cash register and phonograph as a child! We used to use these when playing with the Barbie and Ken dolls, as well as the Sunshine Family dolls. My first roller skates were exactly like these! I had to purchase the keys separately! Brings back some fun memories of roller skating around the neighborhood! I loved skating! And this vintage school bus brings back many of the happier memories of my younger childhood years!
I grew up with this school bus! On of my favorite toys in my younger years!
And it still works just like the one I had!
The school bus also came with the original box! It is not in perfect condition but there are not many original boxes out there these days! This school bus is likely late 60’s to early 70’s!
UPDATE: I ordered more small shelves, which have arrived! I was able to add one more shelf to house the mini cash register and phonograph! So much better here! I needed more space here for the vintage xylophone that also arrived today! I grew up with the same xylophone! We had so much fun with it over the years!
Vintage xylophone has been added!
Some stuffed animals I acquired growing up, more so in my teen years. I can’t believe I still have these! A polar bear, Casanova coyote, a Pom Pom cat that I made, a little brown rabbit and little dog that I used to wear in my blazer pocket at school, and a little woodpecker! Cassonova and the woodpecker came from Arizona or New Mexico in the early 1980’s. I can’t recall where the polar bear came from but he’s early 1980’s too. The teddy bear was given to me by my grandfather from a trip to Ireland when I was born! It’s nearly 58 years old! And a pound puppy from the early 1980’s when they were popular.

We used to play with vintage beads just like this at my grandmother’s house, out on the front porch. She likely purchased these after the first grandchildren were born, a couple of years before I was born nearly 58 years ago! The lion puppet came from my other Grandmother when she came to visit from New York. It’s likely early to mid 1970’s. I’m not sure if she purchased this or made it. She was quite the sewer! But she typically made clothes and not items like this. I don’t think I’ll ever know for sure whether or not she made this. But I am thinking it was most likely a purchased item.
Assorted boxes that I am saving from purchases recently made. You ever know when boxes like this will enhance the value of something years from now! Not that I will benefit from saving these at my age! But hopefully my sister, her kids, or grandchildren will!
A miniature cut glass basket that is similar to one I had as a child that was given to me by my Grandmother in New York when I was baptized. I haven’t seen the one that was mine since I left home in 1987. I purchased this smaller one to enjoy. I also have another one in my curio cabinet that is more true to the size of the one I had growing up. It is almost exactly the same!
Vintage toys we had growing up! Little swing puppet and push puppet! They both still work! I can’t recall which characters we had. But these will do for the memories! Also a little Pom Pom sticky! These were popular when I was in high school! I graduated 40 years ago this year; in 1983!
Pyrex Evenflo bottles; over 55 years old! They used to be placed into a special, large pot that was made for sterilizing a bunch of these bottles at a time! Inside the pot was s rack to hold the bottles in place. The bottles, filled with baby formula with the tops on them, were placed into the rack, inside the pot. The pot would be filled with water and then placed on the stove top to boil. The bottles, formula, caps, and nipples would all be sterilized and ready to go once cooled!
My sister gave me this cute little play salt shaker in more recent years! We used to play with this and other play dishes as kids! This is original to my childhood! Likely early 11970’s! A walk back to the happier memories of childhood!
Vintage Tommee Tippee Cup! I had one similar to this as a toddler!
My vintage mood ring, which my Grandmother gave me years ago when mood rings were super popular! I think this might have been mid to late 1970’s maybe? It still works after all these years!
I used to love playing with these adorable wind up babies as a kid, maybe around age 10; about 47 years ago?
Behind these is a green, cylindrical, wooden block that my sister gave me! We used to play with this as kids at my grandmother’s house on the front porch: Likely purchased in the early 1960’s when my grandmother had her first grandchildren a few years before I came along in 1965! And next to the block is a plastic play dish that we used to play with as kids! This would have been early 1970’s I’m guessing. My sister gave the block and plate to me in more recent years! Memory lane to the good memories!
The baby in the walker is working pretty good but the crawling baby is not working well:
My pencil sharpeners, as described earlier in this blog.
This baby toy was my son’s; 1988! He just turned 35 years old so I guess this toy would be considered vintage now! I know I am getting old when my child’s baby toys are now considered vintage! LOL! This little snail was his absolute favorite toy as an infant!
This little raccoon clip was a Christmas present from a boy that had a crush on me in eighth grade! That would have been Christmas 1978! Forty five years ago!
Vintage diaper pins that resemble those used for cloth diapers for me and two of my sisters between 1965 to 1971+!
I believe that the pink pins were older and more from when I was a baby in 1965.
Vintage coin holder! I think I had a few of these back in my elementary school years. I remember using them for money when we went on field trips, or for my lunch money at school. Likely around the mid 1970’s?
Two more toys that were my son’s as a baby in 1988! Thirty five years old! Vintage! Again, I can’t believe I’m old enough to have toys from my son’s era that are now considered vintage!
This frog necklace is an original that I have kept all of these years! I have no idea how old I was when I wore it! Likely preteen years? I can’t recall where I got it either. I’m guessing it is about 45 years old? In my mind, I seem to think I might have won it at some type of carnival game maybe? Possibly Canopy Lake Park in New Hampshire?
These barrettes became quite popular back in my early high school years. Initially we purchased them at a little consignment shop, Hayscales, in Old North Andover Center. Then we figured out how to make them. My other sister (a year younger than me) actually made these. Not sure how I ended up with them but they are from the early 1980’s! I used to wear these barrettes often! I just loved them!
These bracelets also became quite popular in high school around the early 1980’s! We used to wet them after we put them on and they would shrink a little for a nice fit around the wrist after getting them past our hands! This was the exact same one I used to wear! I can’t believe I still have rhic after all of these years!
This is actually not vintage. They still make these but they do date back to when I was a child, likely mid 1970’s? We had one that was purchased at a gift shop at Cape Cod!
I needed a good storage solution for the head bands for my reborn dolls (and silicone gal) collection. These have adhesive mounts and the hangers spin! Very handy! And this is a perfect spot that is out of the way yet easy to access! Everything is easy to access in this tiny little nursery!
My water bird, bottles and some pacifiers on display! There’s also a storage area behind this acrylic shelf where I have small accessories stored in tiny plastic bins!
I had the following crib toy as a baby in the mid 1960’s! The first one I found while shopping for one was in rough shape! But then I found this one for half the price! Good find!
The rest of the long storage shelf for bottles and pacifiers!
Storage for pacifier clips!
Vintage baby rattles! These aren’t original to me specifically but I had baby rattles similar to these! The smaller one was actually my son’s rattle from 1988, but I had one similar to this as a baby! The large, red rattle was recently purchased. It’s vintage from the days I was a baby around 1965! I also bought some little kiddie sunglasses for my LadyBug reborn doll! She looks so cute in them!
Just a little display area below my magnetic dry erase board! These tiny rubber duckies were purchased at the dollar store! Cheap but cute! The coffee mug was sent to me from the artist who made my full body silicone gal!
This is a miniature popper toy! I’m not sure how old but it is considered vintage.
My magnetic, dry erase board has been decorated and includes magnetic pacifiers for my reborns, magnetic butterflies and lady bugs, miniature fake Dr. Suess books that I added magnets to, a decorative mirror, and photos of my grandchildren!
On the same wall is my miniature nursery/house and doll collection, which includes Malibu Barbie from 1971. I got one for Christmas as a kid, my first and only Barbie doll growing up! Also included is my Ken doll. I managed to find the exact same one I had as a kid from the 1970’s! Mine had this exact same outfit!
I also invested in the Sunshine Family! We didn’t have the grandparents but I opted to get them, too, so I would have the entire collection. I also invested in some Topper Dawn dolls from the 1970’s! We loved playing with these dolls and had so many outfits and accessories for them! I believe they were much cheaper than the Barbie doll line! I believe my grandmother in New York might have given me my very first one; a blonde with long hair. After this, we bought a few more at Chilc World in North Andover, Massachusetts.
All of the COAs (Certificates of Authenticity) for my Reborn dolls are displayed here! My silicone gal has a birth certificate but doesn’t have a COA. I also have a miniature full body silicone boy doll that had a COA.
Full-sized rubber duckies add color and cuteness to my tiny nursery! This little giraffe is adorable too!
The little baby carriages and pacifiers were purchased at the dollar store. They’re intended to be party favors for baby showers. Nice and cheap!
These miniature rattles were purchased at the dollar store too! They are also intended to be party favors for a baby shower! Nice and cheap!
The COA for my miniature full body boy silicone boy doll!
I had this clock as a very young child, likely age four or five; about 53 years ago! This one is not the one I had as a child. I purchased it but it’s like having the same one! And it still works! I didn’t wind it up all of the way so it’s going a bit slow.

Vintage Ken and Malibu Barbie! Exactly like the ones I had as a child! My Ken doll even had the exact same outfit, as well as my Barbie! I bought this 1971 Malibu Barbie in another outfit because she was much cheaper than the ones that came in the original outfit ($18 + shipping)! The outfit she is now wearing was purchased separately and was cheap ($10, free shipping)! It was filthy when I purchased it, and I knew this from the photos, but the price was too good to pass on it! I decided I would try to wash it and hoped it would work out. It was worth the gamble! When it arrived I placed it into a netted bag and threw it in the washing machine. I thoroughly washed my hands immediately after handling it, LOL! Much to my amazement the blue bathing suit came out perfectly clean! Like new! The yellow towel still has mild staining that is barely noticeable. With the sunglasses, bathing suit and towel, I likely could get at least $75 for her now! If I had the original packaging I could get well over $125! I tried searching for just the original packaging alone (without the doll) but, expectedly, was not able to find it. I plan to search every now and then, as you just never know what will pop up on eBay, Etsy or Mercari! It is doubtful I’ll ever come across the original packaging only but you just never know unless you try!
I also had to be very careful to avoid the reproduction Malibu Barbies from the 2,000’s! They have done reproductions in 2001 (30-year anniversary) and 2021 (50th anniversary) and possibly others. Some sellers are trying to pass the reproductions off as 1971 Malibu Barbies! Someone who doesn’t know better would fall for it! I’m glad I figured it out before I made my purchases!
For one thing, the face is slightly different when you compare a true, vintage, 1971 to the reproductions! But you have to look closely to see it! The yellow towel is not the same either, as some of the reproductions lack the fringe on each end, or the fringed ends are different than the originals. Some towels also have a different texture.
The stamp on the butocks of the doll is an obvious difference but sellers trying to pass off reproductions as originals don’t show the stamp on the Barbie’s but.
For the reproductions that come with the original packaging, the packaging is totally different! It is rare to find an original 1971 Malibu Barbie with the original packaging. The reproductions are much newer and I think many purchased these as a collectible and never opened the package. There are lots of reproductions out there with the original packaging.!
This is the true vintage Barbie packaging, never opened. This is listed on eBay for $599!!!!!!
And then there are vintage 1971 Malibu Barbies that have the original packaging but obviously opened because the doll was played with. Those are still worth over $250! I was hoping to find a package to go with mine as it would increase the value if I had one!
And here is the reproduction packaging! Again, totally different!
I had a difficult time finding this Ken doll, and he was the only one out there that had the full original outfit, minus the shoes! Most of the Ken dolls from this age era is the blonde, Malibu Ken doll! There are few Ken dolls with the brown hair from this era; early 1970’s. Most come with no clothes or have an outfit that is not original.
I definitely got a steal on this one at $15.99 plus $10 shipping! And then I found the original shoes for $7.99 plus $4 shipping! I’m not sure what he’s truly worth because I could not find another Ken doll with brown hair that came with this original outfit, plus the shoes. He’s not perfect unfortunately. His nose has damage (dented) and there’s a spot of white paint missing from his teeth. I think that’s why I got such a good deal on him! Otherwise, he’s in great condition! I could always buy a cheap, naked, brown-haired Ken doll that has a good head to switch the current head out. Sometimes you can find just the heads, too. But I’m happy with him for now! With my nearly 58 year old eyes, I hardly notice it! LOL! I could always touch up the missing white on his teeth but it could possibly hurt the value of him more. So I’ll leave well enough alone for now. Bottom line: early 1970’s brown-haired Ken is far rarer than blonde-haired Ken!

This is the outfit my Malibu Barbie came in when I purchased her. It’s a blazer with skirt: A business suit with purple shoes. I also have two pair of the original, vintage sunglasses now! I could sell one for around $20 plus shipping. But I’ll hang onto both pair for now. They might come in handy if one pair breaks or gets lost.
UPDATE: New sandals for Malibu Barbie have arrived! Although the original 1971 Malibu Barbie did not come with any footwear, I wanted her to have some sandals to wear. These are vintage sandals from the 1970’s! I also sewed her bathing suit as it was unraveling in some spots. I am not so sure if I should have sewed this vintage bathing suit when it comes to the collecting aspect. But I did not want any tiny, gaping holes to exist.
A little decorating below the shelf that contains Barbie, Ken and the Sunshine Family!
Presenting my Sunshine Family collection, starting with the Grandparents!

I started with the mother in the white apron, the father and baby Sweets, which came with the wooden cradle. Baby Sweets outfit was filthy so I washed it by hand using a scrub brush. Most of the dirt and spots came out but I could only scrub it so much. It is a delicate, vintage tiny outfit! I had to handle it with care! I bought the second mother in the yellow dress after; more for the dress! She was cheap ($5 + $5 shipping) because her head/neck was broken. But the piece that had broken off the body, on the neck, was inside of her head! I was able to pull it out with tweezers and glue it back onto the body. Still not perfect. The head doesn’t fit on properly and the glue line is visible. You can clearly see the imperfection. But at least her head stays on for displaying the yellow dress and yellow shoes! Since I like the outfit the first mother that I purchased is wearing, I decided to leave it in her for the display.
“Big Sister” was purchased separately and was rather difficult to find! Most came naked but it’s virtually impossible to find separate outfits for her! This one came with the outfit and was in good condition. She was missing the shoes but, miraculously after an extensive search, I finally found the shoes for her! She was $20 plus about $5 shipping and the shoes were $9.99 plus $4 shipping. I could likely get at least $50 for her, plus shipping!
BUT it’s likely this collection will stay together and be sold together. The collection, as a whole, is likely to bring more money than selling them individually. It depends on the market. I’m a good market the full collection will sell well. In a bad market, I believe it would be better to sell individually as many might not be able to afford the entire collection, but might be able to afford an individual doll or two from the collection,

Regarding the doll in the yellow dress: The dress, and shoes, are likely worth more than the doll since the doll’s head was broken. I had to glue the stub onto the neck of the body that holds the doll’s head on. The head still doesn’t go on properly as there is a slight gap despite the repair. If I decided to sell the doll and/or the outfit, I think I would post the dress and shoes alone. And sell the parts of the doll separately: Post separately the left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg, and the head. There are people out there that have this doll but have damage to one of the legs, for example, and might only want to purchase, say, the left leg to replace it. I suppose I could sell the body too but would disclose that the stub was glued back on but the head still doesn’t mount correctly and show a photo with the head on the body to show the gap. But not sure if it would even be worth selling the body. Would likely only get a couple of dollars for it. It’s not worth shipping it! When I purchased this doll for the dress and shoes, I was going to sell the doll and keep the outfit. But I decided to fix the doll as best as I could so I could use it as a mannequin to display the outfit more or less.
Not the greatest photo but you can see where the stub was glued. I tried everything and I can’t get the head on any better than this.
I purchased the dog and cat, as well as an extra cat gif parts. The dog was in perfect condition with tail, original eyes and collar! Most are missing the collar so it is difficult to find one with the collar. There are lots of dogs out there that are missing the tail. And a few are missing one or both eyes, too.
The cat that came with him was missing one eye and the tail but had the collar. So I purchased another cheap cat for parts! Someone on Etsy sells replacement eyes for a variety of dolls, including replacement pet eyes for the Sunshine Family pets. But they are not like the original eyes. They’re just posts that go into the eye socket and have a black ball tip that forms eyes. But certainly nothing like the original eyes, which the seller does note. So I now have a perfect dog and cat pair, plus an extra cat with no collar, no tail and eyes that are black instead of green. The fake, replacement eyes are slightly smaller too. Good enough to include in my display but not worth much at all. It’s not even good enough for a parts only purchase unless someone needs legs or the body itself. Or, maybe if the head of someone’s cat is damaged but they still have eyes to use. I might get $5 plus shipping if the right buyer came along. But after paying eBay and PayPal, it is so not worth the effort to sell it alone. I’ll keep it with the set and if I ever decide to sell the entire set, I’ll just include this extra cat with it.

Ok! Finally digging into my miniature nursery/house! Starting with, what I call, the main entry way!
I call this a closet that has a miniature tool box filled with miniature tools, plus a vacuum cleaner, dust pan and broom!
A miniature sled that looks like the sleds we had as young kids!
A little lantern on a hook!
Back to the entry way!
Miniature cooler filled with beer cans and ice!
Miniature hen!
Miniature tricycle!
Miniature wagon!
Miniature Amazon envelopes!
When the door is open, a beautiful view appears! The photo used for this is from the front of my home in New Hampshire! I really miss this view! I miss New Hampshire!
I have the full photo posted on one of the beams in my tiny nursery!
First display shelf above the main entryway: Wooden playpen!
Miniature vintage baby fun board! My son had the same one; full size of course! LOL!
These babies were cheap! I just bought them as fillers!
The next display shelf up houses miniature game and toy boxes and other toys. There are quite a few options for vintage games and toys out there! Especially on Etsy! Zoom in to see the various games and toys in the shelves! Individually most of these were so cheap! It’s the shipping that costs more than the individual items! When you buy multiple items from one seller, in one order, they do combined shipping and you save a lot this way! You definitely don’t want to buy one item at a time! The shipping will cost you far more this way!

This is the first piece from a lady in the United Kingdom that makes these. She is the only one who sells anything like this! Believe me! I searched high and low and could not find anything close! I had hoped to find these cheaper, even if used, elsewhere! Her products are unique! They’re not cheap but just look at the workmanship on this, as well as my upcoming items that she made! Because her items are so unique, unless someone else decides to replicate them, some say I believe these will be worth some money when they become vintage and aren’t being made anymore! I’m not sure how many of these she sells due to the price but I’m sure there are many others like me who appreciate her work and are willing to pay for them! I will be saving her shop information and order invoices (will do screen shots and print it). I have a nice collection now and want to have some sort of way to authenticate the artist, shop, date purchased, etc. as these are likely going to be worth a lot more than what I paid for them eventually! The baby in the swing is a polymer clay baby.

This next item is on the next shelf up. This is not one of thimbleminis pieces.
This next item is on the next shelf up and is not from thimblemins. The doll is an Ooak doll that is collectible.
Vintage topper Dawn outfits and mannequin from the 70’s!
UPDATE: I added the vintage white fur coat, boots, and purse plus another golden mannequin to display the fur coat, and a hanger for the purse! I purchased this lot mostly for the white poodle! It was cheaper to buy this lot that included the white poodle than it was to purchase the white poodle alone! It I am happy to have the fur coat too. We had two of these as kids!
And a vintage Topper Dawn doll booklet!
I happened upon these by accident on eBay! I had completely forgotten all about these cute matchbox beanie babies! We had a few of these as kids! A blast from the past for sure! We loved playing with these!
Miniature mailbox, bicycle and hummingbird feeder! I bought the flowers around the mailbox and used museum wax to secure them! I used museum wax to secure many items in my miniature nursery/house!
Miniature high chair and polymer clay baby!
The next FIVE items are from thimblemins! Amazing work!
This is a little porcelain doll that my aunt gave me years ago; guessing maybe twenty years ago? She thought it looked like me as a little girl.
Little dog bed with sleeping Corgi.
Miniature boppy pillow with polymer clay baby!
This next item comes from thimblemins too! Just check out the detail! Some people try to make items like this but the workmanship is terrible!
This item is not from thimblemins but is almost as good. But this seller/artist only makes these and nothing else similar to this or similar to thimblemins.
This next item is not thimblemins either but is still pretty good! The baby is a miniature silicone doll that has a COA! Love the miniature baby bottle too!
Here’s the COA!
Miniature wooden rocking horse!
Here are the main “floors” of the miniature nursery/house!
First level!
Little roller skates and flip flops!
When the little pink door is open, there is a photo that matches the photos used for the windows and the white entryway door. As mentioned earlier in my blog, this photo is the view we had from our home in New Hampshire! We sure do miss it! I thought it would be great to incorporate it into my project for all doors and windows! I love seeing this photo!
Miniature clothes pins in a basket. Bought these at the dollar store!
Incorporated a little clothes line using the tiny clothes pins!
Second level! Includes photo frames with photos of my grandchildren in them!
Vintage 70’s Topper Dawn and Topper Dawn Gary doll! And polymer clay baby in the bassinet!
Miniature baby ultrasound photos! How cute!
I have a few outlets and light switches scattered throughout my miniature nursery/house! Cool!
Third level! Vintage 70’s Topper Dawn doll and polymer clay baby in the crib!
Flat screen TV!
The crib side goes up and down!
Vintage 70’s Topper Dawn black poodle!
UPDATE: Added the white poodle to this display!!!
Scale!
Storage shelf!
Top shelf includes vintage 70’s Topper Dawn gold purse!
Forth level! Collectible toddlers are Ooak dolls! So cute! The pack n play and regular playpen were both made by thimblemins! Love these! The little girl with braids is porcelain but not very collectible. She was a very budget-friendly purchase! The little baby is a miniature polymer clay baby!
Miniature popper toy! So cute!
Little knitting kit. Sewing kit and sewing machine!
Fake dress on a hanger.
Fifth and final level! Another vintage 70’s Topper Dawn doll, brunette, with polymer clay babies!
My sister sent me the link to this next piece! Initially I thought it was a full-sized changing table for my tiny nursery, which likely would never have fit! But as a miniature, it’s perfect! And adorable too!
My entry to the tiny nursery! Well hidden when not in use!
Well, that’s all of it for the moment! Still waiting for the following items to arrive! Plus any future finds that my tiny nursery can accommodate! LOL!
More 1/12 scale, miniature boxed toys!
I saw this and just had to have it! How many restaurants offer disposable baby bibs these days! LOL! Those were the days!
All of this was truly entertaining and quite the blast from our past! I loved every minute of it! I can tell that it took a great deal of memory and time to search every single one of those items out! Such intricate detail too! You utilized all of the space so perfectly too! I especially loved how you purchased the miniature version of the original vintage boxes/toys that we once shared! Buying them in full-size would have taken up an awful lot of space, but you captured each item and placed them so neatly along the shelves! It looks like an actual closet and it's very hard to tell that it's not! It all brought back a lot of memories! Those little matchbox bean babies were my absolute favorite! I still remember how they felt in the palm of my hand -like it was yesterday! You should come up with a name for your nursery! Something with a vintage appeal to it! I can personally guarantee you that no one else will have that same name! It was sheer coincidence when I came up with mine -Eileen's Embraceable Nursery! As far as I know, no one else is using the word 'Embraceable'! But I truly loved this blog post! Thank you for sharing it with me! I loved every minute of it!
ReplyDeleteI had fun searching for all of the latest updates! I found them! Awesome additions and so much fun! I love everything that you did with this space! Nice job concealing it too! I would never have known it was even there at all!!!!
