After a lengthy search I finally located the perfect storage for my collection! I had most of them in the bottom of my curio, however, my last add on to the collection didn’t fit and I had to consider something new for all of them. I thought about many options from a small curio to a bookshelf to buffet type of cabinet but I already have all spaces accounted for throughout my house. Finally I found this on Amazon!
I didn’t really need a 12-cube but I went with this anyway as it was only $20 more than the 8-cube. I figured with extra parts I’d have more flexibility with options. Not costly, versatile, easy to move around, can configure for various spaces, and has doors as well, which help me to keep my collection protected from dust and also keeps it private.
I’m not sure I really like it here but it’s here for now. I may move it later.
The doors don’t all stay closed very well but that’s an easy fix. I ordered some adhesive Velcro to attach as door latches to keep them closed. I was aware of this beforehand after reading reviews but I was fine with this as it’s an easy fix.
There are also decals to label the doors but they’re all for things such as underwear and socks. I think I’ll look around for some nice decals and if I see something I really, really like I’ll go for it.
I also ordered some puck lights for each shelf. I think this will look pretty and I’ll be able to visualize them better!
Anyway, here it is for now; pending lights and Velcro to help keep the doors completely closed. And possibly pending some decorative decals! I also love the metal bars that I can keep the magnetic pacifiers mounted to! And I have extra materials left over. I can put those together and utilize it for reorganizing my linen closet!
From top to bottom…
Courtney with her COA (Certificate of Authenticity)
Michael with his COA
Kimberly with her COA
Hamilton with his COA
Hannah Grace, my full body silicone gal, with her birth certificate
Bottom shelf is for storing clothes and outfits, like Polyflinder dresses, christening dress and christening outfits for boys, etc.
Magnetic pacifiers on metal bars! Makes for great storage!
I think the adhesive Velcro will work well to latch the doors so they all stay fully closed to help minimize damage from dust and sunlight; and to keep my collection private.
I still have plenty of left over materials! Will be great for a little re-org!! Can’t wait!
Can’t wait to get my puck lights and Velcro! Lights will be here tomorrow and Velcro will be here in a couple of days!
Here are the features of this system! A lot of nice advantages!
It just occurred to me that we both have the exact same 'Michael' sculpt! I hadn't realized! : ) This is an excellent storage option too! Well planned! ; )
