Since I was up to seven Reborns plus one full body silicone doll, I needed to downsize my collection as it was getting a bit crowded in my tiny nursery, which also accommodates all of their clothes and accessories, my vintage collection and my miniature nursery dollhouse. It was a very difficult decision but I decided to sell my full body silicone doll, Hannah Grace; my older Reborn, LadyBug; and one of my newborn Reborns, Hamilton. I listed them for sale on January 15th.
Hannah Grace sold extremely fast, the day after listing her, on January 16th! Thanks to my sister, who is also a collector of Reborn dolls, I got more than I thought I would get for this full body silicone doll after eBay fees! Thank you, Sis!!!! 👍❤️💕🥰😘 And the buyer was extremely pleased with her purchase! 👍
LadyBug sold on January 22nd! Exactly one week after listing her! She was just shipped today, January 23rd!
Hamilton is the last one left for sale! I have had lots of views but only had 4 people watching him for days. Early this morning I rearranged his photos a bit and changed the main photo too. This afternoon I am now up to 6 people watching him. It might be coincidental but I suspect rearranging the photos helped since it was stuck on 4 watchers for days prior to this. I think I will try rearranging the photos every few days until he sells and see if it produces results!
My remaining collection now includes only Reborn dolls and no longer includes any silicone dolls. I once had three full body silicone dolls; a boy and two girls. I sold the other two over a year ago.
Once Hamilton sells, my remaining Reborn collection will include my most recent two purchases, Pickle (a limited edition sculpt) and Mary, plus three others: Kodi Bear (another limited edition sculpt), Kimberly and Michael. I would like to get my collection down to three; maybe four at most but I just cannot bring myself to part with any of these remaining five Reborns! Two are older babies and both are limited edition scuplts. I am definitely hanging onto these two for a long time as they are highly collectible and I just love the artistry! They will be more valuable once they become sold out limited editions! There will still be unpainted sculpts left out there but once all are painted and sold, they will become difficult to acquire and the value will increase even more!
The other three, all newborns, are open editions but I just love the artistry! I have purchased and sold other Reborns in the past. See my previous blogs for details.
So, here is the remaining inventory in my Reborn doll collection! My five favorites of all time!
Pickle (limited edition sculpt, #1023/3700, and older Reborn)
Mary
Kodi Bear (limited edition scuplt, #1231/2000, and older Reborn)
Kimberly
Michael
As you know I just swapped out a bunch of babies for some 'pre-owned' customs as well! I definitely got bored and wanted to revamp the entire nursery and I can see that you are now too! Good for you! I don't think Hamilton and Mary will last for very long! They'll sell! I just love your Pickles so much! You have a beautiful collection! Thank you for always inspiring me! : )
