Since I am now up to seven Reborns plus one full body silicone doll, I needed to downsize my collection as it was getting a bit crowded in my tiny nursery, which also accommodates all of their clothes and accessories, my vintage collection and my miniature nursery dollhouse. It was a very difficult decision but I decided to sell my full body silicone doll, Hannah Grace; my older Reborn, LadyBug; and one of my newborn Reborns, Hamilton.
Hannah Grace sold last evening, only a day into her listing, and is being shipped in the morning. Thanks to my sister, who is also a collector of Reborn dolls, I got more than I thought I would get for this full body silicone doll after eBay fees! Thank you, Sis!!!! 👍❤️💕🥰😘
LadyBug is still for sale but has good activity so it’s just a matter of time before she sells.
Hamilton is also for sale and has excellent activity and will likely sell soon as well.
Once these three are all sold, my remaining collection will include only Reborn dolls and will no longer include any silicone dolls. I once had three full body silicone dolls; a boy and two girls. I sold the other two over a year ago.
My remaining Reborn collection includes my most recent two purchases, Pickle (a limited edition sculpt) and Mary plus three others: Kodi Bear (another limited edition sculpt), Kimberly and Michael. I would like to get my collection down to three; maybe four at most but I just cannot bring myself to part with any of these remaining five Reborns! Two are older babies and are both limited edition scuplts. I am definitely hanging onto these two for a long time as they are highly collectible and I just love the artistry! The other three, all newborns, are open editions but I just love the artistry! I have purchased and sold other Reborns in the past. See my previous blogs for details.

I am so glad you got the right amount of compensation for your silicone! I did away with both of mine a year ago. Just too much upkeep. I much prefer a vinyl reborn that will tolerate constant wardrobe changes. You have a beautiful nursery of babies right now. When you get the urge to sell, be sure you're doing the right thing. Especially in Pickle's case. I see them getting more and more expensive. Pickle's with 'painted' hair even -are selling for $800+ by this point. This sculpt has been in such high demand. You're very fortunate to have such a beauty. I hope you manage to find the time to dress some babies over the upcoming weekend. Thanks for sharing your blog!!! Love ya!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sis!! That’s great news about Pickle! I’m going to hang into her for a while! I think her sculpt is just about sold out, or might be sold out now! They made 3,700 of her sculpt and mine is #1,023. I’m sure there are others that have yet to be painted and sold. I think the Kodi Bear sculpt is sold out now! They only made 2,000 of his sculpt and mine is #1,231. It’s great to have both of these limited edition Reborns as part of my collection!
