I saw this little cutie and could not resist! I have been wanting an awake sculpt, and potentially an older baby to toddler, but I had not seen any that I liked until now. I wasn’t really actively looking; just searching every now and then for something that fit this description and one that I liked. Up until now, all but one of my reborns and all of my silicones, both current and sold, have been asleep sculpts and newborn size. The one awake scuplted reborn I had just wasn’t what I had hoped for. He looked better in the photos than in real life. And it seemed as though his head was too small for his body! LOL! So I ended up selling him.
But I am guessing that most reborns are newborn size and that there are more asleep sculpts than awake sculpts. If I had to guess, I’d say that about 70-75% of newborn sculpts are asleep sculpts. And I’d say maybe 15-20% of reborns are older baby to toddler. There might actually be more toddlers than older babies. If I had to guess, I bet only 5-10% of reborn dolls are older babies. And I’m guessing that probably 60-70% of the older babies are awake sculpts. And I believe probably close to 100%, if not 100%, of toddlers are awake sculpts.
So I decided to go for it when I saw her! Ordered her on 4/2/23; my eighth reborn purchase! I have previously sold three reborns and have one that I have posted for sale. She’s being shipped tomorrow and I can’t wait to see her! She will likely make a great addition to my collection! Her sculpt is no longer being made so eventually between this, and being an awake sculpt, and being an older baby, she is likely a very worthwhile investment!
Meet LadyBug!
It is with mixed emotions that I have decided to sell Courtney so I can give LadyBug this spot in my storage unit. I have her priced at the same price I purchased her for less than one year ago. She’s in perfect condition with no changes since the day I got her! However, I have the posting set to accept offers and have set the minimum offer I am willing to accept, which I prefer not to post here publicly while she’s on the market.
I’m not in a hurry to sell, and if I can’t get what I want for her, I will just keep her! If need be, I could give up the very bottom shelf in my storage unit where I store all clothing and accessories for my collection! Those can easily be stored elsewhere, and nearby.

I can say that my three favorite reborns are nearly tied for first place! My full body silicone is in an entirely different class! For years I wanted a full body silicone doll and had finally got one! I had also bought two others but decided to sell the other two and keep my favorite one.
At this time I could never part my three favorite reborns. Courtney is in forth place but not far from the rest! So I wouldn’t mind keeping her if I can’t get what I want for her. She also happens to be my most valuable reborn doll based on the sculpt and artist!

That's awesome! Congratulations! Not to worry, Courtney won't last long and she'll sell in no time at all! I've had just one older baby in my entire collection and she was a Sandie Sculpt. You will be shocked and amazed by this size difference. It's a good thing that you went with an 'awake' baby and an 'older baby' this time around. Now you'll be able to experience both in just the one baby. You'll have more baby clothing options too. I have quite a few 'awake' babies myself. Rose -Bettie Kit, Weronika -Emmy Kit, Marietta -Blossom Kit and Ruby -Ruby Awake Kit. The only ones that aren't are Madilyn -Wilby Kit, Christopher -Christopher Asleep Kit, Xander -Michael Kit, Avery -Ruby Asleep Kit and Sunny -Sunny Delight kit. I love them all! I'm currently at '9' reborns myself. I really need to spend a little more time with them than I have been lately. I still enjoy this hobby so much. : )

Next time I’m able to get to TX! That would be awesome! And next time you come out this way you’ll be able to see mine as well! 💕❤️
