In the location it was in next to my curio, it did not blend in very well. I also wasn’t able to access the side door on that side of the curio cabinet, which is a necessity for rearranging items on that side of the curio as well as dusting and cleaning. There is a door on each side of the curio to be able to access each side and access to both side doors is necessary. Another issue was that I had to move my curio over to make room for it, which resulted in blocking the electrical outlet, which was exposed prior to moving it. I could plug in the curio light behind there but my shredder machine plug was too large to fit without pulling the curio out away from the wall a couple of inches. When I did that, it looked like crap and it wasn’t as stable. Items inside were rattling with walking into the room, which did not happen when the curio was snug against the wall.
So, moving my storage solution to the new location allowed me to put the curio back where it was, as well as our wedding photo that had to be taken down after the curio was moved. And I don’t have to re-home my shredder!
My puck lights also arrived today so I installed them! Just waiting for the Velcro to come in so I can install them to hold the doors closed, which will look a bit neater!
I’m also going to search for a good way to mount the COAs (certificates of authenticity) for each doll on each shelf. I have them displayed approximately where I want them but they keep slipping and falling. I don’t want to risk losing or damaging them. If I ever decide to sell any of them, I need the COAs to be there and in good shape. The dolls are not worth much without these!
Here it is in it’s new location! It definitely fits nicely here and blends in a bit better! It’s not a perfect look but this is exactly what I needed for storing my collection!

One of the new puck lights!
It looks so pretty in the dark too with the lighted hutch! It just glows in the dark so nicely when the puck lights are on!
That's so cool!
