Photo Shoot!

My Kodi Bear gal arrived today so I decided a photo shoot was in order! I wanted to obtain photos of my Kodi Bear gal and her twin brother, Kodi Bear boy! I also decided to include my entire collection, which also includes Pickle, Michael and Kimberly! 

My two Kodi Bears are older Reborns and are limited editions with only 2,000 sculpts made world wide! My Kodi Bear boy is numbered 1,231 my Kodi Bear gal is numbered 1,285. My sweet Pickle is also an older Reborn and is now a sold out limited edition (SOLE) with 3,700 sculpts made world wide, and she is numbered 1,023. Michael and Kimberly are open edition newborn Reborns. 

The same artist, Alicia Garner of Alicia’s Angels Reborn Nursery, reborned three out of five dolls in my collection: My Kodi Bear boy, Michael and Kimberly! I just love her artistry!

My entire Reborn collection! With the exception of my new Kodi Bear gal, everyone got a wardrobe change for tonight’s photo shoot! But, even my Kodi Bear gal got new socks, shoes and headband!

My three older Reborns, and limited editions! Pickle, on the right, is now sold out! The infant seat she is sitting in is a vintage 1963 Infantseat Baby Carrier, Baby Sitter Model 50! These seats are extremely rare! And this one is likely a one of a kind as it is in perfect, like new condition, AND it came in the original box, which is in good condition with only some minimal fading! Like new and with the original box is unheard of! There were several bidders and I just went all out and didn’t hold back on it! No regrets! People used these seats for years, and in some cases even as car seats, until they were banned in the 1980’s due to safety issues! Some young mother must have received this as a gift and new better! LOL! It likely got stuffed into a closet until someone came across years later and decided to sell it! I can tell that this infant seat was likely never used!

Here are my twin Kodi Bears! My Kodi Bear gal arrived just today! It’s amazing that the same scuplt can look so different when done by different artists with different hair and skin tones!

Aside from Reborn collection, I also collect vintage 1960’s+ items and I also have a miniature nursery that includes some modern furniture and decor, as well as vintage items such as Dawn dolls!
