Some big updates tonight! Many items arrived today! More items coming! And I likely will order some more items once everything has arrived and has been set up! The ideas are flowing! My new tiny play pen/bassinet is the perfect size! I can display three reborns there! I had them hung on the walls with hooks for their Moses beds. They looked adorable in display that way but this new solution is so much better! It has actually freed up more space for me! It is less crowded now! So much better than I had anticipated!
I have some new lighting effects! I have a battery-operated star string light, a battery-operated lamp, a bunch of battery-operated puck lights, and my main electrical ceiling light! I can go with bright or just low lighting. There are lots of options depending on the mood I am in! LOL!!
I have some new decals, and definitely will be getting more of these! What a difference! I placed them in the walls, the dresser and the doors of the storage cubicles.
I also added another small white, furry rug under the new playpen/bassinet. It’s actually the perfect size for photo shoots! It’ll be easy enough to pull it out for use!
My “Little Baby Cave” sign is hung up too! So cute!
I still have a baby mobile coming tomorrow. That will look adorable! I also ordered a small fabric diaper caddy. More for display, to add to the nursery affect! I’ll put the diapers in it as well as some other things and put it on display that way.
My dry erase magnetic board for the largest section of wall was supposed to be here today but is running late and won’t arrive until Monday. Like I said, I’ll be ordering more decals tonight! I can’t wait to add them to the lower storage cubicle doors as well as fill in other sections of wall! And who knows where else I’ll put them!
And as time goes on, I’ll keep adding until I have no more space to decorate!
I would like to get some kind of shade or cover for the main light in the ceiling! But this type of light basically only has plastic or metal cage covers to protect the light bulb. I have an LED light bulb in place and it doesn’t get hot, or even warm! There’s no way to conceal the wires. I’m not messing with them anyway! I don’t feel comfortable replacing it with another light myself. I probably could, I know I could, but I’d rather leave well enough alone. I don’t want to mess with something that works. Or risk an electrical fire!
Here are the updates! Some photos have fewer lights on than others in order to display some of the options for lighting from bright lighting to very dim lighting!
This is what it looked like when I first discovered this space! See previous blogs for further information about this and all previous updates!
