I had been looking on and off for a limited edition Reborn boy with rooted hair and finally found him! The sculpt is Primrose Asleep and is actually a girl but the artist made this one a boy, named Parker. Only 1250 Primose Asleep sculpts were made and it was first released on February 19, 2025! Parker is number 494/1250! I bet it won’t take long for him to become a SOLE (sold out limited edition)!

Tiny Nursery Emptied Today

It is bittersweet that my tiny nursery is now emptied out! I have some great memories there and had a great time creating my little paradise! Our home just went on the market as we plan our move back to New Hampshire within the next couple of months. We are thrilled to be going back home to New Hampshire and will be living only 1.5 miles up the road from my son and his family! We are building a log home on 12.55 acres with a beautiful mountain view! The property also borders a rocky, clear-water river that we can swim in! I already miss my tiny nursery but the sacrifice is so very worth it! 

Here it is now! It is now back to what it looked like the day I discovered this hidden tiny gem!

New Reborn Ordered!

I have been looking on and off for a limited edition Reborn boy with rooted hair and finally found him! The sculpt is Primrose Asleep and is actually a girl but the artist made this one a boy, named Parker. Only 1250 Primose Asleep sculpts were made and it was first released on February 19, 2025!

I have purchased from this artist three times previously. I love this artist! 

For a while she was selling some Reborns I did not like at all. But now she’s putting out some beautiful, high-end limited editions! But now I am wondering if she was experimenting for a while with different types of paints and colors, and possibly trying to reduce her supply of open edition Reborns. Because now she appears to be more focused on selling high-end limited editions. She is an excellent artist and has sold many Reborns in the past, which were mostly open editions and in the $400 range. I purchased Kimberly and Michael from her! Beautiful artistry! 

I have Kimberly for sale right now. I plan to list Michael too but will wait until my new Primrose Reborn arrives to be sure he is exactly what I am expecting! He looks great in the photos but until I see him in person, I don’t want to list my favorite open edition, Michael! My goal has been to have a collection that is all limited editions. Kimberly and Michael are my last open editions. I have sold all of the others. I do have one limited edition also listed for sale, Kovu, only 800 made. The artistry and rooted hair are excellent but he is soooooo tiny! Like, smaller than a premie! He’s just not for me. But I won’t sell him at a huge loss. If I cannot get my currently listed price for him, which is already at a loss, I’ll just keep him as part of my limited edition collection. 

Here is the listing for Kimberly and Kovu. I paid $575 plus $25 shipping for Kovu and paid $345 plus $25 shipping for Kimberly. I paid $375 plus $25 shipping for Michael. I will likely list him for $349 plus $30 shipping. To me, if the artist was to make another Kimberly or Michael today, she would sell them for well over $400 now. I always charge $30 for shipping because I use the USPS large flat rate box, which is $25 and I insure it for the selling price, which usually adds about $4 more. Unfortunately the economy isn’t so great right now so the Reborns aren’t selling as fast as they previously were. But it’s just a matter of time before the right buyers come along. There is no hurry to sell them. It is just a matter of patience.

My current listings: 

Maybe she recognized her abilities as an artist and decided it was time to bring her talent to the next level. Just a guess. I just know that, in the past, most of her Reborns were open editions and very few were limited editions. I did get my Kodi Bear boy limited edition from her but only paid $599 plus $25 for shipping. 

My other limited Kodi Bear, a girl, was custom made by a different, but very high-end artist, and I paid $1050 plus $50 for shipping. 

My Kodi Bear boy has painted hair so he would be worth a bit less than my Kodi Bear girl, who has beautiful blonde rooted hair. I would love to send my Kodi Bear boy to get rooted hair. At some point I’ll look into this.
