Vintage Collection!

I just recently added these to my vintage collection in my tiny nursery! These are vintage 1960’s Fisher Price carousel and Ferris wheel! Love these!! 

Tiny Nursery Today!

I have been adding a few more vintage items to my nursery and wanted to post what it looks like today!! 

My sister bought this miniature doll house-sized table and chair set! We had one of these in our doll house when we were kids growing up! Brings back many fun memories! 

This next vintage item arrived today! I don’t think we had one when I was a child but I do recall playing with one at a friend’s house! So fun! 

This next item has been shipped and is due within the next couple of days! We didn’t have one but I remember playing with this at a friend’s house! Great memories!

Another recent vintage purchase! The little Fisher Price phone was something I we might have had as children but I cannot recall for sure. But I do remember playing with one of these with the little pop up girl! So cute! 

This is my older Reborn, a limited edition, Pickle! She is #1023/3700 made. I paid just $499+ for her and now her sculpt is selling for closer to $700 and up! Others with similar artistry to mine are closer to $1,000 now! If I hang onto her for a while, she will be worth a lot more when her sculpt is a sold out limited edition! It will be interesting to see what her value is then! 

Kodi Bear is another limited edition, older Reborn. He is # 1231/2000 made! I paid $599 for him and rarely see other Kodi Bear sculpts out there. I know I could get at least $700 for him now. His sculpt is likely close to being sold out and his sculpt was more limited than Pickle’s sculpt. 

I also have custom ordered another Kodi Bear sculpt to be girl instead of a boy! It takes about 3.5 months to complete her! I ordered her almost two months ago! I’m not sure yet what number she will be out of the 2,000 made! This is an example of what she will look like when I finally get to see her! I asked the artist to make mine just like this! I can’t wait to see her! I am paying $1,050 for her! With the rooted hair, she will be valued higher than my Kodi Bear boy, who has painted hair. I am thinking about possibly getting rooted hair on him too! It might be worth it to send him to someone who can do this for me. I might ask the artist of my Kodi Bear girl if she is interested in this. Some artists might not want to touch another artist’s work, and I’m also not sure how much she would charge to do it. Plus there is the cost to ship to him and to ship him back to me after. I would detach his head from his body and just send his head as this would be all that is needed for the work to be done. But, of course, any time you ship a Reborn there is risk of damage or loss. So I am a bit nervous about this too. I am not sure if there is anyone local to me that roots hair, and does it to perfection, too. I would not want my Kodi Bear boy ruined either. And I wouldn’t want any of the artistry on his face disturbed.

And these two, below, are open edition Reborn, newborn-sized dolls. On the left is Michael and on the right is Kimberly. They were both painted by the same artist as my Kodi Bear boy! I just love this artist’s work!

This space is very tiny but I sure have been able to fit a lot of stuff in here too! It has taken a tremendous amount of work to organize and to repeatedly re-organize this space to accommodate so many items! But it has been so worth it! It is such a fun space! I just love it!
