Latest Tiny Nursery Updates!

My two new Reborn dolls, Pickle and Mary, arrived today and have been added to my tiny nursery! I wasn’t sure they would all fit as I now have 7 Reborns plus one full body silicone gal! I had three Reborns in the the tiny playpen, posed in their Moses beds. Removing the Moses beds allowed me to comfortably fit four there! I had not realized how much extra space would be freed up by doing this! I think I like it, as I can view them better too! It is also easier to take them out and put them back in! So Mary, who arrived today, is the number four addition to my tiny playpen!

Kodi Bear, an awake sculpt, was posed in my vintage InfantSeat but since my new arrival, Pickle, is an asleep sculpt it made more sense to replace Kodi Bear with Pickle. They are both older babies that would be quite capable is sitting up on their own; however, Pickle would have looked a bit funny sitting up while sleeping! LOL! 

So, here is my updated tiny nursery! Enjoy!

LadyBug, Kodi Bear and my new arrival, Pickle, in the InfantSeat (older Reborns). Kodi Bear is a limited edition sculpt, number 1,231 out of 2,000 made world wide! And Pickle is also a limited edition; number 1,033 out of 3,700 made world wide! Kodi Bear had been displayed in the vintage InfantSeat until today, when I decided that it made more sense to place Pickle in the seat since she is an asleep sculpt. A great decision, as it turns out Kodi Bear looks so much better sitting up! He’s a big boy! LOL!

Just a quick photo of my night stand with vintage items and lamps, including a vintage boudoir lamp from the 1960’s on the right! I had one that was almost exactly the same when I was growing up!

Hannah Grace, my full body silicone doll! I once had three full body silicone dolls but decided to keep one, and sold the other two; one girl and one boy. 

All of my COA’s (Certificates of Authenticity) for all dolls are on display on this wall. I temporarily added Pickle’s and Mary’s COA’s to this clip. When I have time to make more space, they will have their own clips so they are clearly displayed! I cannot wait to complete this!

Mary Just Arrived Too!

Mary arrived a short time ago and has definitely exceeded my expectations! She is my cheapest Reborn and $199 plus shipping but may perhaps be my favorite! She is amazing! The artistry is excellent with full attention to every detail! She was beautiful in her listing by the artist, which drew my attention to her immediately! I was just browsing at the time with no intention to make a purchase since I had just purchased another Reborn a couple of days earlier, Pickle! But when I saw the price and that the shipping was only $25, I just had to have her! I could not pass on her and I went for it! 

When I told my sister about this find, it turned out that she, too, had purchased from this same artist twice, and that she found that this artist produces excellent work! I was slightly skeptical due to the price until my sister told me this, and she was so right! 

Here is my little Mary! She is so awesome! She might be my favorite Reborn yet! I also just love her outfit, with head band and little knit booties! 

Pickle Just Arrived!

Here she is! Meet Pickle! Her sculpt is limited edition and I am thrilled that she’s in the lower third of the total number made! She is number 1023/3700 made! Her COA (Certificate of Authenticity) also includes the sculptor’s signature and a “Pickle” stamp to add to the authentication! 

She is so sweet! Exactly what I was hoping for! I love her outfit, especially her little socks and shoes! She also takes a magnetic pacifier, which was included. Also included was a white onesie that fits her. 

My other Reborn, Mary will be here any time too! Pickle was delivered by UPS and Mary will be delivered by USPS. She is definitely coming today as her tracking number had a status of, “Out for delivery” early this morning! 

I have never received two Reborn dolls on the same day! They were ordered two days apart and from two different artists. Pickle was shipped via UPS from Missouri and Mary was shipped via USPS from Maine! Amazing that both will have arrived within a couple of hours of one another! I have never ordered two Reborns so close together, and likely never will again! Thus, receiving two in the same day is quite unique and unusual! 

What a fun day! I will post Mary’s box opening in a separate blog after she arrives; any time now! 

Another Addition On The Way!

OMG! I must be CRAZY! I just ordered another Reborn, Mary, tonight! I was just checking out the latest additions on the Reborn site that I love to browse, with no intention of buying anything, and this little gal appeared as the most recent new listing! Only $199 plus $20 shipping! She is adorable and the artistry appears to be really good! At this price I could not pass on this little gem! Hopefully she is as good as her photos! Fingers crossed!  She was created from the Realborn sleeping Mary kit and was lovingly brought to life using the finest of materials and the best of techniques to blossom into the adorable baby she is today. She was painted using Genesis heat set paints for a one of a kind beautiful baby skin tone. She has beautiful brown painted hair. Sealed with a matte varnish for extra protection.  I love that she comes with all of the clothing she is pictured in! Adorable! A magnetic pacifier is also included. She has a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). I would not have purchased her if not included! Can’t wait to see her! She’s coming from Maine so it likely won’t take long for her to arrive once shipped! I purchased another Reborn two nights ago, Pickle, an older baby that is a limited edition.
